Volunteer Appreciation Night
Through the Church
First Anna believes that the ‘people we use are more important than the systems we choose.’ A church our size relies heavily on gifted, reliable, energetic people to serve. Most service opportunities require membership status. If you are a member or looking to become a member below are some opportunities for service.
-Grounds: First Anna is a 2 acre campus with many buildings and needs. We rely on ‘handy’ members of our church to help us with most of our maintenance needs.
-First Impression Team: This team helps with traffic flow, greeting and providing a welcoming entrance into the church.
-Worship Teams: We have multiple worship teams that serve in rotation for both services, utilizing electric & acoustic guitars, piano, cello/strings, bass and drums, as well as back-up singers.
-Church Teams: Administering the many details of the church requires lots of decisions and insight. We try to get the most qualified people to the discussion table when we have to make major decisions or changes to First Anna. Our Church Teams help make these decisions. These teams are formed by the Deacons and Pastor once a year. However, periodically we will need people to attend meetings or join the team mid-year. If you feel gifted by education or experience in one of the following areas, we would like to know so we can get you to the decision-making table as needed:
-Finance
-Human Resources
Building Maintenance/Repair
